The apartment is located on the west side of Split. It is very close to the Poljud stadion. The name of the stadium was given from the neighbourhood of Poljud, and is located on the northern side of the Split peninsula. Its original name is “Gradski stadion u Poljudu” (“City Stadium of Poljud”). The stadium was built for the 1979 Mediterranean Games and is the home venue of the Hajduk Split football club.
The “lungs of the city”, Marjan – hill, peninsula and Forest Park is located in the western part of the Split peninsula. At the foot of Marjan hill, east, lies the city of Split. Walking or jogging on Marjan is one of the favorite activities of Splits inhabitants. Walk usually begins at the Marjan door, or at the first lookout from where you can climb to the zoo or to Telegrin.
Walk the northern part of Marjan begins at the north gate, where they can walk down the road or jogging trail. After 1800 meter long walk you arrive to bay of St. Benedict, or more known, Bene. In a small bay, facing northwest, you can find a restaurant, and several playgrounds. During the summer, there is a slide, and the bay is full of swimmers. The walk can be continued further down the road towards the final cape of Marjan, length of about 1000 m.

Split Airport (IATA: SPU) (ICAO: LDSP), after Zagreb Airport, the most important in Croatia. Scheduled services fly to major European cities, with summer charter flights from more. The airport is about 25 km west from Split, near the city of Kaštela.
