The apartment is located in Meje, a quiet area of Split, just 800 meters from Split Old Town. It is very close to the Diocletian’s Palace, a unique example in the world, a UNESCO cultural heritage, which is still inhabited but also apartment is very close to Marjan – hill, peninsula and Forest Park, the “lungs of the city”.  At the foot of Marjan hill, lies the city of Split. Walking or jogging on Marjan is one of the favorite activities of Splits inhabitants. After 1800 m long walk you arrive to bay of St. Benedict, or more known, Bene. In a small bay, facing northwest, you can find a restaurant, and several playgrounds. During the summer, there is a slide, and the bay is full of swimmers.

Split Airport (IATA: SPU) (ICAO: LDSP), after Zagreb Airport, the most important in Croatia. Scheduled services fly to major European cities, with summer charter flights from more. The airport is about 25 km west from Split, near the city of Kaštela.

The main bus station in Split is located in the heart of the town, next to the harbor and the main railway station, which makes it easy for travelers to transfer between different means of Transport.

Split train station is right in the city center, it is a few minutes’ walk from the port and from the old town.

The Port of Split is the main hub for local boats and hydrofoils in Central Dalmatia. Several a day run to and from Brac, Hvar, Solta, Vis, Korčula and Lastovo.
