The kitchen is fully equipped, including a refrigerator, dishwasher, electric stove, water heater, microwave oven and filter coffee maker. In the bathroom there is a washing machine, radiator for drying towels, hair dryer, etc.

Upon arrival guests will find a welcome fruit basket and the bottle of local wine. Ave Caesar is a luxurious combination of the antiquity and modern facilities. Its location near all the famous historic and cultural sites, will leave guests with an unforgettable experience. Transfer to/from the airport available on request for extra fee.

Area activities

Studio apartment Ave Caesar is located in the center of the old town, in a pedestrian zone, a few minutes walk from the the Diocletian Palace, built 1700 years ago, for the roman emperor Diocletian (UNESCO heritage). A number of other significant cultural and historic sites are also nearby.

Even though in the immediate vicinity there are many restaurants, coffee shops, stores, food shops including a well stocked supermarket, the apartment is very quiet during the night. An inexpensive public parking is around a corner. A fish market and an open air green market can be reached in a few minutes. For people interested in recreation, Marjan (a protected city park), stadium Poljud and other green areas for walking or jogging can easily reached by foot.

The well known local sandy beach Bacvice is about 15 minute walk away.

Airports

Split Airport (IATA: SPU) (ICAO: LDSP), after Zagreb Airport, the most important in Croatia. Scheduled services fly to major European cities, with summer charter flights from more. The airport is about 25 km west from Split, near the city of Kaštela.

Other transport

The main bus station in Split is located in the heart of the town, next to the harbor and the main railway station, which makes it easy for travelers to transfer between different means of Transport.

Split train station is right in the city center, it is a few minutes’ walk from the port and from the old town.

The Port of Split is the main hub for local boats and hydrofoils in Central Dalmatia. Several a day run to and from Brac, Hvar, Solta, Vis, Korčula and Lastovo.
